Worcestershire-based Nick Carroll Architects appointed Buckingham Pools to Design and Build family-friendly facilities. The onsite facilities, now completed to a high standard, comprise a freeboard 152 square metre swimming pool integrated with a 29.8 square metre splash pad. Whilst the owners aspired to weatherproof holidaymakers’ leisure experience, our pool’s uncompromised design echoes the distinctive triangular shape of the space to continue the immersive 360° setting. Finished in shimmer mosaics with contrasting demarcation lines adds character to the pool scene in conjunction with stainless steel skimmers. The bespoke stretched ceiling with LED strip lights further enhances the freeform pool achieving a stylish finish. On the other hand, the splash pool is finished in high-grade Rubaroc for children’s safety, whilst specialist water jets accentuate the playful ambience. In our commitment to ensure longevity, the plant room incorporates two top-of-the-range 1800l filters and an easy-to-maintain Cupro-Nickel Bowman Heat Exchanger. 

Ultimately, whilst enjoying uninterrupted sea views from the main pool on the ground floor, the complex offers panoramic views of Aberystwyth from atop, making Aber Bay the sought-after Holiday Park in Wales.
