The design and installation of the swimming and hydrotherapy pools for Special Educational Needs schools require specific, detailed design considerations to maximise the therapeutic benefits. As disabled access and usability are key throughout, the pools incorporate faster filtration cycles to ensure cleanliness and higher water temperatures to introduce hydrotherapeutic benefits.
Overhead and poolside hoists with mobile location points and handrail access are incorporated into the designs.
