Kier Group awarded Buckingham Pools a turnkey Design and Build contract for a 25 x 8.5m level-deck school pool featuring variable depth from 1 to 2 meters. In order to align with the project requirements, our design development phase extensively covered technical specifications and associated systems. These encompass top-tier water treatment and filtration systems, disinfection procedures, and an advanced HVAC system.

The completed pool adheres to the highest commercial standards and is equipped with the latest filtration technologies, including chemically resistant and high-performing Hurricane Pumps and SLX filters. The pool’s surface is finished in commercial-grade Agrob Buchtal tiles for safety and excellent slip resistance, suitable for heavy traffic and various school-related activities. This impressive four-lane, 25-meter pool has been meticulously designed and engineered to accommodate up to 72 bathers simultaneously, catering to school competitions, aquatic activities, and more. With the addition of a heat retention automatic cover system it further provides energy efficiency and cost-savings. Amidst an array of state-of-the-art sporting facilities, the swimming pool is one of the widespread choices for learning development and recreation at Fitzalan High School.
