Buckingham Pools is pleased to announce the completion of the residents’ facilities at The Maple, Brent Cross Town, London, delivered in partnership with main contractor Galliford Try and architect Conran & Partners for client Related Argent. As part of the wider Brent Cross Town regeneration – a new neighbourhood centred around wellbeing and lifestyle – the scheme required a premium private amenity offering befitting a modern build-to-rent development. Appointed under a full Design & Build contract, Buckingham Pools engineered and constructed a 25-metre indoor lap pool, 2 bespoke spas, and a sauna suite within the residents’ club.

The main pool is a 25.00m x 7.10m skimmer pool at a constant depth of 1.20m, designed for both exercise swimming and everyday residential use. The skimmer configuration maximises the usable water area while maintaining a calm reflective surface suited to the interior setting and simplified operation. It is finished in large-format 1200 x 1200mm porcelain tiles, chosen for low water absorption and durability in chemically treated environments. Fewer grout joints reduce contamination points and maintenance requirements while creating a clean, continuous appearance. Integrated underwater LED lighting provides even illumination across the pool, improving safety, depth perception and perceived water clarity while enhancing the overall atmosphere of the space.

Two bespoke spa pools measuring 2.50m x 2.50m at 0.90m depth sit alongside the main pool, finished in mosaic tiling and equipped with massage pumps, air blowers and ergonomically positioned hydrotherapy jets for targeted relaxation. The suite also includes a Harvia sauna constructed in natural spruce, selected for thermal stability and a refined finish consistent with the surrounding interiors. A built-in ventilation system circulates air evenly throughout the cabin to maintain balanced heat distribution and user comfort. All facilities are supported by independently controlled filtration and heating systems and a fully installed, commissioned plant room designed for efficient operation, acoustic control and ease of maintenance.

The completed wellness facilities create a calm environment aligned with the development’s wellbeing-led philosophy. Through coordinated design integration, precision installation and full commissioning, Buckingham Pools provided a technically robust and visually refined solution that enhances resident experience while minimising lifecycle operational demands. The result is a high-performance suite that adds long-term value to The Maple, supporting the wider lifestyle vision established for Brent Cross Town.
