BUCKINGHAM POOLS COMPLETE AN INFINITY POOL FOR INSPIRED VILLAGES

Buckingham Pools complete an Infinity Pool for Inspired Villages

Kier Construction appointed Buckingham Pools to complete an infinity pool for Inspired Villages, a later living operator across the UK. Their newest retirement village Ledian Gardens is situated in the idyllic village of Leeds, Maidstone, in Kent. Designed to actively encourage retirees’ wellbeing through social activities, clubhouse facilities and a wellness centre, Buckingham Pools were thrilled to be involved in this prestigious project.

The indoor swimming pool measuring 17 x 6.50m, features a relaxation area with a bespoke stainless-steel air lounger and water massage jets, inviting multi-use of the facility. In addition, the cascading water effect, coupled with the ornamental qualities of the wall-mounted waterfall, explicitly sets the desired pool environment for the users. With a modern design in mind, the walk-in steps and custom stainless-steel walk-in barriers provide safety and easy accessibility. Further, as a top priority to meet UK commercial standards, our tiling specialist meticulously installed anti-slip mosaics in Nieve Verde Seda to prevent slips or injuries.

Joe Schembri, the Operations Manager at Kier, agrees the pool was finished to a high standard reflecting the concept design for Ledian Gardens: “The pool looks absolutely superb, and the quality of your work is really appreciated. Thanks for stepping in to complete the work and approaching this with great professionalism”.

Buckingham Pools are delighted to have contributed industry expertise to address the wider later living shortages across the UK. With a mutual collaboration with Kier and Inspired Villages, we handed over the project on January 31st 2023, for the retirees to experience a wellness-focused pool.
