A Wellness Sanctuary Designed For all Four Seasons
A London-based architectural firm, Studio Stassano, appoints Buckingham Pools to design an opulent pool and wellness suite for a Victorian dwelling in an affluent district. four seasons
The new basement of this semi-detached property will see a 32 feet by 10 feet indoor skimmer pool with an integrated spa pool, a steam room and a sauna. The swimming pool will feature the latest in stainless steel counter-current devices. Offering the experience of swimming against a uniform current covering the entire body width, it can be readily controlled by touch-sensitive buttons. Buckingham Pools’ complete package, consisting of drawings of all sections and schematics, is designed to suit the client’s two-phase construction project brief. Phase one, scheduled to commence at the end of 2022, is primarily focused on building the shell structure of the pool and spa. As of Q1 2023, by comparison, phase two will progress to the more significant part of the construction to complete each installation.
The roof window feature positioned centrally to the main pool will draw plenty of skylight directly into and around the pool. Similarly, both thermotherapy facilities will overlook the main pool through its extensive glass access, emphasising an open-plan feel. With high-end, contrasting large-format finishes, this suite is tastefully curated for a luxurious ambience.
Buckingham Pools anticipate a transformational basement in one of London’s most desirable residential neighbourhoods, St John’s Wood. Once complete, this at-home sanctuary will offer various in-demand health and wellness driven amenities, conveniently accommodating cold-climate residents to stay warm all four seasons.
